When the 12kV overhead distribution line T is connected to the branch line or the internal user fails, the timing of the line switch protection action and the substation outlet switch protection time limit cannot be properly adjusted, which will cause the substation outlet switch to trip. If the nature of the fault is permanent and the substation coincidence will not be successful, then a local failure in a medium voltage user community will power down the entire 12kV distribution line. If an outdoor junction breaker is installed at the T junction or the customer end (responsibility demarcation point), it is ensured that the failure (overcurrent, short circuit, single phase grounding, etc.) in the user boundary is determined and the fault is automatically isolated. Users in non-faulty areas use power normally.
